| Mon 30 July - Sun 19 August | Concertfest 2012
For three weeks in August a feast of approximately forty public concerts is offered running concurrently with the Summer School of Music at Sherborne School. The concerts range from intimate Chamber Music performances by International artistes held in the recital hall of Sherborne School’s new state of the art Music School and the beautiful Cheap Street Church, to large Orchestral and Choral concerts held in the Big School room of Sherborne School and Sherborne Abbey. A complete programme of events is published at the beginning of July each year.
Sherborne Summer School of Music (formerly Canford Summer School of Music) hosts a whole range of courses for choirs, orchestras, chamber ensembles, bands, courses for conductors, composers, solo singers, teachers, pianists and jazz musicians.
