“Pinocchio” by Carlo Collodi (adapted by Oliver Gray). Forget Disney. This is the real Pinocchio; funny, scary and very very smart. Kids will love the comedy, adults will love the allegory, and everyone likes to see a spoilt brat suffering. Collodi's macabre masterpiece will change the way you look at children's literature forever. Oh and there's a 25-foot shark. And Pinocchio's nose really does grow before your eyes.

“The Merry Wives of Windsor” by William Shakespeare. One fat knight, two merry wives, three jolly japes and more laughs than you can shake a stick at.Shakespeare has arguably written not just the funniest but also the most PC play in the English language; he insults EVERYBODY equally, be they fatties, skinnies, poofs, chavs, krauts, frogs, taffs, toffs - or the English Suburban Middle Classes. Join Illyria, and let's all laugh at ourselves.

Sun 10 AugustDALEK INVASION!
Prepare to have the living daylights scared out of you! Only the brave should visit the Museum on Aug 10th. The security staff at RNAS Yeovilton have been placed on a state of high alert as we have been advised that a full army of twelve Daleks led by the dreaded Black Dalek and accompanied by menacing Cyber Men and Ice Warriors plan to invade the Museum and terrorise the public. A Dr Who exhibition will be on display with a Tardis, Davros and K9 among the exhibits. Throughout the Museum, Dr Who Traders and enthusiasts will be on hand and there will even be an opportunity to
attend "An Audience with a Dalek" when visitors can ask some of the better behaved Daleks the questions on everyone's mind for example "How do you get up stairs".
Children are encouraged to arrive in Sci-Fi fancy dress and normal admission prices will apply. The Museum will open at 10.00am
