Founded in 1957, Sherborne Historical Society is a group of people who are interested in History, both local and worldwide. It meets regularly in the Winter months to provide lectures from distinguished speakers and offers field trips in the Summer months. Meetings are held at The Digby Hall, Hound Street, Sherborne approximately once a fortnight during the winter months. These meetings start at 7.30 for 8.00 p.m.
Our Annual subscription charge is £12.00 per member.

Field Visits 2010
During the summer period visits to historically interesting places will be arranged. Details of these visits will be circulated to members early in 2010 together with an application form for tickets. The form will detail the cost of each trip which will normally include admission fees, coach fares, gratuities and teas. The coach usually departs from and returns to the Culverhayes car park.
