In 2009 Sherborne Chamber of Trade carried out a survey of businesses in the town. We had approximately 140 responses and identified about 50 people who were interested in finding out more about the Chamber and its activities.
People already involved said that they were generally very happy with what the Chamber does, in particular the newsletter and meetings. One of the top things businesses want in Sherborne is more opportunity to network.
In response to this, we arranged a summer barbeque in August, which over 70 people enjoyed.
Our next task is to consolidate our database by adding the interested parties.
