Festive Shopping Day
Festive Shopping Day 2011 will be Sunday 4th December. The event will be better than ever, with Friends of the Yeatman as our chosen charity in their 60th Anniversary year. We have The Fallen Angels and Father Christmas coming to visit, with bands, choirs, markets, a vintage bus and minature Shetland ponies. There will be Abbey services throughout the day, culminating in an impressive illuminated procession and lighting up event at 4.15 on the Conduit.

Christmas Trees
We are in the process of organising illuminated Christmas trees for the town. We hope to have over 100 this year, the cost of has been kept down once again by the generous support of Sherborne Town Council.
The trees are much admired every year and really add to the ambience of the town. We are ordering from Superplants again this year, who are expert at installing any additional brackets required, and fitting the required standard of decorative lights.
In addition to the tree, donated to the town by Sherborne Castle Estates on Greenhill, which we decorate, we have purchased, with the generous help of Sherborne Town Council, some new lights for the Rotary tree by the Conduit.
2011 orders are open and need to be in by Monday 24th October.
