Councillor Jane Smith (pictured right - above) was elected Mayor for 2010/2011 at the Annual Meeting of the Sherborne Town Council on Monday 17th May 2010.
As Mayor, Councillor Smith will chair meetings of the Town Council, represent the council on various bodies and attend civic functions on behalf of the Council and the people of Sherborne. The Mayor also attends many events held by local charities, local churches, and various local clubs and societies.
Councillor Dru Gurzynski (pictured right - below) was elected Deputy Mayor for 2010/2011 and she will support the Mayor throughout her year in office.
