Councillor Malcolm Boustead (pictured right - above) was elected Mayor for 2009/2010 at the Annual Meeting of the Sherborne Town Council on Monday 18th May 2009.
As Mayor, Councillor Boustead will chair meetings of the Town Council, represent the council on various bodies and attend civic functions on behalf of the Council and the people of Sherborne. The Mayor also attends many events held by local charities, local churches, and various local clubs and societies. The Mayor will be supported by his Mayoress, Councillor Mrs Drusilla Gurzynski.
Councillor Jane Smith (pictured right - below) was elected Deputy Mayor for 2009/2010 and she will support the Mayor throughout his year in office.
