Councillor Dominic Elliott (pictured right - above) was elected Mayor for 2008/2009 at the Annual Meeting of the Sherborne Town Council on Monday 19th May 2008.
As Mayor, Councillor Elliott will chair meetings of the Town Council, represent the council on various bodies and attend civic functions on behalf of the Council and the people of Sherborne. The Mayor also attends many events held by local charities, local churches, and various local clubs and societies. The Mayor will be supported by his Mayoress,
Mrs Jenny Vickers,

Councillor Malcolm Boustead (pictured right - below) was elected Deputy Mayor for 2008/2009 and he will support the Mayor throughout his year in office.
