Having performed to packed houses all over Dorset, they bring their unique brand of acoustic music to LEIGH and will be performing tracks from their CD, “Different Routes”. Dorset Wildlife Trust - Sherborne Group

This month's talk has an enigmatic title 'Birds in a Cage'. In 1941 four prisoners of war held in Warbourg Camp watched and recorded birds seen from the camp. Our speaker - author, journalist and RSPB employee, Derek Niemann, - was given the papers of one of these men, Peter Conder, who later became the director of RSPB, and so the book of the same title was written.

The talk follows the Chairman's brief Annual Report.

Cost; £2.50 at the door. Non-members of DWT most welcome. Tea & coffee available in the interval.
