Glebe House is a former country rectory located in the beautiful Blackmore Vale in the heart of Thomas Hardy country. The tiny hamlet of Folke, with its charming sixteenth-century church and abandoned medieval settlement, is just three miles from the ancient abbey town of Sherborne and within easy driving distance of the Dorset coast (now a World Heritage Site). There is a choice of pubs just a short drive or 20 minute walk away. All bedrooms enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful Dorset countryside

Glebe House has been awarded a 4 star silver Quality in Tourism rating by Visit Britain. Both double and twin bedrooms have a wonderful outlook towards the Blackmore Vale and the Dorset hills beyond; they are fully equipped with comfortable seating, a digital television, free wireless broadband internet access. The en suite shower room is fitted with a heated towel rail.
The dining room, with its wood burning stove, seats four guests for a leisurely breakfast with daily newspaper available. Where possible, locally produced products are sourced for breakfast which includes orange juice, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, homemade bread, homemade marmalade, Dorset honey and freshly made tea and coffee.

Self Catering
Little Glebe is a well-equipped and comfortable holiday flat for two people which provides high quality self catering accommodation. The property, which has been awarded a 4 star Quality in Tourism rating, enjoys wonderful views across the Blackmore Vale.
Guests have their own entrance with unrestricted access to their accommodation, the parking area and a private garden. The bedroom can be configured either with a 6’ double (super king-size) or with two 3’ twin beds. The shower room is en suite and fitted with a heated towel rail. The sitting room has a wonderful outlook and is well equipped with comfortable seating, freeview television, DVD, video and CD player. The kitchen is fitted with a hob, oven, microwave and fridge-freezer; washing machine available; living room with freeview television, DVD, video and CD player. Free broadband wireless internet access is available. In short, everything is provided to ensure a relaxing week in Dorset.
Bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday and cost between £260 and £360. In the high season bookings are by the week.
