A warm welcome awaits at this beautifully furnished converted stone barn. Situated 2 miles from Sherborne Town and a short drive from the popular wedding venues of Sherborne Abbey, Castle and Lower Stockbridge Barn. Stoneleigh Barn is the perfect place to stay for your wedding night or special occassion.  Families very welcome, however we are sorry we cannot accommodate pets. For our guests comfort we do not allow smoking within the building. .  

Accommodation and Gardens.

The accommodation comprises of 4 rooms. All rooms have Free view televisions and free WiFi, hairdryers, mini fridge, irons and boards, tea and coffee facilities. The newly fitted hotwater pressured system offers lovely hot showers.

The Rose room  is en-suite and ideal for romantic wedding nights, anniversaries, and other special occasions.  A wedding night package is available including champagne,  chocolate, flowers to match the bridal scheme and a Bucks Fizz breakfast. Price on application.

The turqois room is a spacious and light room which easily can sleep 2 adults, 1 child and a baby.

The adjacent Lilac room, is a smaller doubleroom, has a comfortable double bed and sleeps 2 adults or 2 children.                                                                    These two rooms can be used as a family suite and share a large bathroom.

The Lavender room  is a lovely and comfortable double room with it's own private bathroom

Good home cooked breakfasts using locally sourced ingredients, and freshly laid eggs from our own chickens. Special diets catered for, please mention when booking.

Enjoy the landscaped gardens, relax by the fish pond or in the shade of the South African Rotunda after an exciting day exploring the delights of the beautiful Dorset countryside and coastline.

Secure parking for 3 guest cars within a gated area. Security lit at night.

Room rates including breakfast - Double room £80.00 per night. Single occupancy £60.00 per night. For children 10 years and older, sharing with parents £10 per night.

Where to find Us.

Stoneleigh Barn is situated on the A3030.  Leave Sherborne on the A352 towards Dorchester. After a mile,turn left onto the A3030, descend the hill and enter North Wootton. Turn left immediately after the North Wootton/40mph signs and follow the lane round to the right. You will see our entrance on the left through the open 5 bar gate.
