The Levels’ Best & Montcute Farmers’ Market is an Award winning market that has been trading since September 2004. It was set up by Somerset Food Links at the invitation of the National Trust and has attracted an ever-increasing number of people from Yeovil town, the surrounding villages and visitors from across the country.
This market has a wide variety of stalls selling seasonal, fresh, local foods and traditional drinks as well as some very attractive home-made crafts. With an average of 30 stalls in the Old Stable Courtyard there is plenty of choice that include the quality Levels’ Best products that are produced exclusively on the Somerset Levels and Moors.
Each market highlights the seasonal foods that will be on sale and there’s plenty in store for the Food Festival on 25 September and the Christmas market on 11 December.
If you’ve been to the market before we welcome you back to this year’s markets and if you’ve not been then come and enjoy the happy bustle of a traditional market, taste the food, meet with friends and enjoy a visit to Montacute House. There is free parking and level access. The National Trust restaurant and shop are open on all market days.
