Buzz, born out of the idea that it had been impossible to buy a pair of jeans or almost any other piece of casual clothing in Sherborne, was opened in 2001 by Charlotte Jackson & Emma Organ and has become a major element of Sherborne’s shopping scene.

It’s an independent.  A one-off.  Able to cherry pick from the very best casual clothes' labels and to house them under one roof has enormous advantages for Buzz customers who descend upon the shop from a wide radius. Brands include the hugely popular White Stuff,  R M Williams (leather boots & tough but stylish clothes; this is a quality brand from Australia which has a big fan club particularly with men), Brax (superbly cut German jeans, cords, crops & shorts) Crew Clothing (fantastic casual pieces for men &women which wash and wear brilliantly), Sebago (their deck shoes are second-to-none and their clothes are good too), Jackpot (a highly regarded, colourful and fun label for women at sensible prices), Great Plains (the value arm of French Connection) and many others.

Charlotte and Emma are very much hands-on and take pleasure in offering customers a truly, personal service. Nestling at the bottom end of the town, Buzz is next to Fired Earth on South Street.
